Spring/Life
Glossy petals fall and the sunlight will ensure they glow beyond their life on this muddy grass. Patient plants wait for their time to sprout and all the while those all year rounds take centre stage. I beg for simplicity, not unlike the common daisy that I see girls pick and twiddle in their dainty fingers, short nails not allowed to grow beyond the edge of a fingertip, but just enough to prick a daisies stem. Quiet bushes send their subtle calls to the bees and butterflies for socialising is in their nature. Underneath the buzz of nature was the cry of a child. Born without the whisper of the earth in its blood, yet like a peony it blossomed in a short window to become a coveted layer of petite, beautiful silence.
